Cracking Definition

This part is some basic and general stuff. Skip it if you know it.

Cracking by definition means to figure something out. Like cracking a puzzle, or a mystery, or a vault at a bank, or code.
When you crack something, it means you figured it out. Software cracking for example figures out how to find the serial number of a program (like microsoft office) so you don't have to pay for it.
Cracking therefore is a kind of reverse engineering, where you have to think like the creator did, and undo his work.
Bruteforcing is not exactly reverse engineering. When you truly crack a website, it means you figured out the code of the security system and found a "glitch" and you used that glitch to gain access. This is now known as Exploiting. It is not how bruteforcing works.
Bruteforcing gets access to a website and gets past security by trying several different combinations of username and passwords, until you just get one right. The probability of getting one right becomes higher if you use lists of usernames and passwords that have been known to exist in the past.
The truth almost all of these combolists come from userlists and password files that were TRULY CRACKED by someone who EXPLOITED (not bruteforced) the website's security system, and found a database of encrypted existing usernames and passwords that were decrypted.
Ever since then all combolists have become accumulations of those existing usernames and passwords.
Even though bruteforcing is not exactly "cracking", with time it became common for bruteforcing to be called cracking, i guess because the forms became alittle harder and you needed to crack the form code itself if you wanted to bruteforce.
OCR cracking means "optical character recognition" bruteforcing. It is also bruteforcing, but in this case there is an image involved that the bruteforcer has to decipher.
This introduction was all to explain to you one thing: This program, even though I or some people might call it a cracker sometimes, IS NOT A CRACKER. It is a BRUTEFORCER. Its job is to correctly try to login to a website as many times as possible and as fast as possible.
If i use the word cracking along the way, know that i am talking about bruteforcing, NOT exploiting :)
